About me.

I’m Jessica, a designer, design instructor, wife and mom.

As the owner of JGB Interiors, a residential interior design firm located in Washington D.C., one of my greatest passions is giving people the tools that allow them to love where they live.  I love picking out paint colors, and you won’t have to twist my arm to find the perfect piece of art for you.  As a design instructor, I’m always interested in learning new things and trying to pass them on in a meaningful way to my students. As a wife, I have to admit that I really like to have a good meal on the table and embrace the heck out of domesticity (which I temper with the modern-day-woman-stuff of running a business and teaching). As a mom, I’m just trying to help turn a really cute and rambunctious little guy into a nice, respectable grown-up. I also try to remember to pick him up from preschool on time. So far, at four years in, it’s going pretty well.
