I just realized that for the past few weeks I’ve been focusing on colors that aren’t the most vibrant of the bunch, so this week my plan is to switch things up. The first color that comes to mind when I think of excitement and flair and punch is magenta: it doesn’t get much more obviously colorful than bright pink! I love magenta for its hint of purple, which is arguably more sophisticated than bubblegum, and I also adore the way that it pairs well with browns, navy, orange, and most neutrals.
