I haven’t been blogging much this week, and don’t expect to next week either, but there’s an extra good reason: I’m working on some doing some serious photography for my online portfolio! There will be about five or six projects featured, and hopefully I’ll be adding to that over the next few months as I become inspired to capture more of my clients’ homes. It’s hard to choose which projects to photograph, and it’s even more difficult to capture them well. I’ve been learning a lot with this project…like how to use a fancy camera semi-adeptly, how to stage rooms for interior photography, and that one of the colors I use the most (yellow/gold) is very difficult to capture on camera!
I know you can’t wait to see them (at least I hope you can’t) so for now, here’s one image to tide you over.
What’s that lovely shade in the bookcase niches you ask? — Benjamin Moore’s Stratton Blue, of course!
Happy Thursday! I can’t wait to share all of the final photos very soon!
