Sometimes less really is more; especially when it comes to glass, lucite or resin. Nothing makes a crowded and over-furnished space a little lighter than a single unexpected lucite console. A glass table can give your rug a little more room to shine, and a barely-there pendant light can maximize the functionality of your fixture while contributing to a modern, minimalist aesthetic.
I love these pieces for their simplicity and clean lines; a single one works just as well in a Federal-style living room as a whole room of them do in a contemporary house. Hope you can find one that you like; I especially love the creamer!
