A Color Workshop – A Success!

21 Mar

The Color Workshop that Jessica of Design Wonderland and I did together at Sukio Design Co. this past weekend was lots of fun! I’m so glad that Jessica asked me to join her in leading the workshop, and was thrilled to get to spend time in Desiré’s fantastic new home accessory store.

We met a bunch of creatively-minded and interesting people on Saturday and Sunday, which is something that designers live for!  We talked walls, paint, wallpaper, accessories, and even met one person with a fantastic federal-style gold mirror that was salvaged from the old DC General Hospital’s basement: green AND glamorous! To hear Jessica describe some of the highlights, keep reading here over at Design Wonderland.

Me, just excited to be around pretty things. See those Adler pillows in the back? (image via Sukio Design Co.)

Hopefully we’ll be leading some more workshops or designer Q&A sessions in the coming months, so stay tuned for more!
