YOU GUYS: CB2 Is Coming to Georgetown!

25 Jan

My dear friend and fellow designer Asri just informed me that CB2 is opening a store in Georgetown in April.  The address is 3307 M Street NW. HOW did I miss this?  Did you know and you didn’t tell me?

Affordable modern for everyone! (image via CB2)

I adore CB2 for their affordable modern styles and the versatility of their pieces.  The quality is good for the investment and their pieces are accessible in a way that a lot of modern furniture isn’t.  CB2 is the modern middle-ground that sits happily between the will-last-you-six-months-before-breaking $300 modern sofas and the will-last-you-until-your-great-grandkids-are-in-college-and-they-don’t-want-your-stuff-anyway $12,000 modern sofas.  If Room and Board is the upper-middle price range of modern, CB2 is the lower-middle.  …and in case you haven’t noticed, DC needs something like this badly; my clients are begging for it, as I regularly watch them outlay frequent shipping costs for CB2 items.

So my point is: in just a little under four short months you can hop in your car (or bike, or metro) and pick up one of these things:

From top left: Contact Stool - $129, Letterpress Rug - $299, Formosa Tray Table - $49, Liquid Yellow Organic Bowl - $39, Cheese Cutters - $12, Paint Palette Pillow - $35, Flatiron Creamer - $2, Archive Credenza - $899, Firefly Pendant Lamp - $199 (all images via CB2)

Good news!
