Non-Holiday Wreaths!

13 Jan

Just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean you can’t have a festive wreath on your door.  Here are a few of my favorites, appropriate for outdoor AND indoor use!

Kojo Designs’ Tea Wreath – tutorial here.

I can see this in my kitchen for sure! (image via KojoDesigns via The Kitchn)

Candy Wreath: a wreath after my own heart.   Great for a kitchen, entry, or child’s room door. (Just be sure to avoid candies that drip sugar crystals on the ground…yuck).  A tutorial  from A Pretty Cool Life can be found here.

I like the simplicity of this ribbon wreath from The Long Thread. Tutorial here.  It’s suggested that you use it as a Halloween decoration, but you can choose any color or pattern of ribbon and use it year-round: I see it being particularly useful in a hallway, mudroom, or family office where you can safety pin useful notes onto it.

Don't be fooled by the siding in the photo - this wreath is just as cool indoors! (images via The Long Thread)

If my husband doesn’t object to me bringing 16 bags of gumdrops into our house, I see a craft project coming on this weekend!
