Today’s post is serious business. It’s about trees (please don’t be offended if you’re not of the Christmas tree persuasion).

I hear this question all season: “real or fake?” and quite frankly, I’m tired of it. There are so many fantastic fake trees out there — silver, pink, frosted, twig or cardboard — that in my mind the question has come to mean nothing. If we’re being honest here, our tree is fake because I didn’t want my almost-two-year-old toppling over an 80 pound conifer when he could just tip a 10 pound faux one. That said, he hasn’t tipped it yet but there are at least 20 more days left in tree season.
But I digress. The real question is this: What Color Are Your Tree Lights? White or Colored? Take the poll here:
