Fall brings about some of the most gorgeous and richest palettes that nature has to offer: reds, oranges, golds, rusts, and bronzes abound.
Burke Lake Park, captured by our camera phone last year. Notice how well the fall oranges work with the cool blues in this complementary fall color scheme?
When the leaves turn color you feel the chill in the air. When they start to fall off of the trees and make piles in your yard, then you want to grab the coziest blanket and fall into your sofa. Today’s Color Friday features comfy throw blankets and cushy pillows in the colors of those beautiful fall leaves. They might not go with your existing decor, but perhaps you can find a place to inject a little seasonal warmth in your home. Fall’s shades range from muted bronzes to vibrant tangerines, so I’m sure there’s some room for a leafy hue somewhere…
